On a private white-sand cove in Dapitan City, Dakak Beach Resort presents a luxurious venue for a most serene holiday — and a most adventurous one. The Setting
A Cove of Your Own
Set beside the sea and flanked by mountains to its west, Dakak sits on a sheltered white-sand bay reached by a 30-minute drive from Dipolog City and Dipolog Airport.
Sixty-four duplex bungalows — one hundred and sixty rooms in all — are tucked into the trees along the cove, built in the old island way with bamboo and capiz-shell windowpanes. Between them lie pools, gardens, and a beach that stays calm and swimmable through the day.
It is a place that works at two speeds: the quiet of the bay at dawn, and the full day of adventure that follows.

Dining at Dakak runs from a 24-hour beachfront café to wood-fired pizza, fresh seafood and grand themed feasts — Fiesta Filipina, island luau nights, kamayan eaten with bare hands off banana leaves.

Above the cove, the adventure zone runs one of the country's longest dual ziplines, ATV trails, rock climbing and rappelling. On the bay below, jet skis, kayaks and cove cruises wait. For the slower hours there is the spa, the sauna, the golf course and the beach itself.
